FAQs
Am I allowed to come to the courthouse?
The courthouse ceremony is a very small, private event with only 10 spots allowed—including the bride and groom—so attendance is limited to immediate family members (parents and siblings). Thanks so much for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at the later festivities!
What is the dress code for Parson’s Chicken and Fish?
Jeans are totally acceptable! Parson’s Chicken and Fish is a casual neighborhood joint know for their fried chicken, and signature Negroni Slushy.
What is the dress code for Tortoise Supper Club?
No jeans, please! Think cocktail attire—chic, curated, and a little fancy. We’ll be dining in the stunning Red Room at Tortoise Supper Club.
Are children or plus-ones welcome?
No, please leave the kiddos at home. We’re hosting an intimate dinner with family and close friends, and seating is limited—so we appreciate your understanding!
January in Chicago - will I need a coat?
Yes — absolutely bring a coat! It’s very cold in January (think below freezing), even if you'll mostly be indoors. You’ll want something warm for getting to and from venues, restaurants, and wherever your Uber drops you.
